The PlatformPay.io team was thrilled to attend Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this February. From networking events and client dinners to insightful speaker presentations, it’s definitely a must-attend event for those in the performance marketing industry. Since its inception in 2003 by industry pioneers Missy Ward and Shawn Collins, Affiliate Summit has become a cornerstone conference for affiliate marketing professionals worldwide.
Nick Cuttonaro, Executive Vice President at PlatformPay.io, has been a regular attendee of Affiliate Summit conferences since 2010, and this year’s event proved to be nothing short of spectacular. The event spanned from February 3rd through February 5th, with the PlatformPay.io team hosting a booth at the Meet Market on the 3rd, and a large booth at the Expo Hall for the final two days.
The excitement began on Sunday, February 2nd, as the team picked up their badges early, to avoid the Monday rush. We attended the first meeting at the Linq Hotel with Beast Insights, where the team gained valuable insights into how their platform helps advertisers analyze data more effectively. The evening continued with networking events, including the ClickBid World Party, Sticky.io Party, and a client dinner at the iconic Golden Steer Steakhouse, rounding off a productive pre-conference day.
On Monday, February 3rd, the team was up early to set up our booth for the Meet Market. The booth was decked out with PlatformPay.io merch (everything from pens to socks) and booklets. We especially made sure to come supplied with more Pepe merch after it was a big hit during our previous event at AW Bangkok in Dec 2024.
A major highlight was the presentation by Patrick Downes, our General Counsel at PlatformPay.io, titled: “Turning Risk Into Rebills: $2 Million in Additional Profit in 16 Months from a Free + Shipping eCom Offer”. Patrick’s talk drew in a packed audience, addressing how compliance-friendly continuity programs and strategies can keep chargebacks within association guidelines (while of course maximizing revenue). He shared two case studies of a US e-commerce merchant and EU digital goods merchant to illustrate PlatformPay.io integration solutions and structure. His background and years of experience in complex commercial litigation makes him an industry expert when it comes to navigating real world risk assessment.
The main Expo Hall at Caesars Forum served as the perfect backdrop for two days of high-impact networking on Tuesday, February 4th, and Wednesday, February 5th. The team had the opportunity to meet numerous new prospects, reconnect with longtime industry friends, and solidify valuable partnerships—some dating back over 15 years.
The evening was spent at Delilah at the Wynn, hosted by Moonlight Payments. Later, the evening wrapped up with dinner at Nobu Caesars Palace with a recently onboarded client to celebrate their future success and to discuss their plans for this upcoming year together.
Affiliate Summit West 2025 proved to be an incredible experience for the PlatformPay.io team. We were honored to play such a big role in the event as a Thought Leadership Sponsor and main stage speaker. Special shout out to Alice Apthorpe, Henny Sheeran, and Millie Hill from the Clarion Events team for making this all possible.
